License Agreement
The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the software under the following terms.
License Duration (Lifetime License Clarification)
Task Session is sold as a “Lifetime License.”
For clarity, a Lifetime License refers to a license validity period of five (5) years from the original purchase date.
During this 5-year period, the Licensee is entitled to use the software according to the applicable license type. After the license term expires, continued usage, updates, or support may require renewal at the Licensor’s discretion.
License Types
Regular License
The Licensee may use Task Session for a single end product for themselves or a client, installed on one domain or server.
The software may not be used as part of a SaaS, subscription-based, or hosted service where users are charged for access.
Extended License
The Licensee may incorporate the software into a single end product for which end users may be charged.
This license allows commercial usage involving paid end users but does not permit redistribution of the software itself.
Usage Restrictions
Resale and Distribution
The Licensee may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or repackage the software in its original or modified form.
This includes uploading, sharing, or distributing the software through public or private repositories.
Hosting and SaaS Restriction
Under the Regular License, Task Session may only be used for internal business use or for a single client.
Use of the software as a multi-tenant hosted solution, SaaS platform, or service where multiple users pay for access is strictly prohibited unless an Extended License is purchased.
Modifications
The Licensee may customize or modify the software for personal or client use.
All modifications remain subject to this license and do not grant ownership rights.
Modified versions of the software may not be redistributed or resold.
Transfer Restrictions
Licenses are strictly non-transferable.
The Licensee may not assign, sublicense, sell, or transfer the license to any other individual or entity without prior written permission from the Licensor.
Termination
This License Agreement remains in effect until terminated.
The Licensor reserves the right to terminate the license immediately and without refund if the Licensee:
- Violates any license terms
- Uses the software for prohibited purposes, including unauthorized SaaS hosting
- Attempts to resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or claim ownership of the software
Upon termination, the Licensee must permanently delete all copies of the software.
Copyright and Ownership
All intellectual property rights, copyrights, and ownership of Task Session remain solely with the Licensor.
This agreement grants usage rights only and does not transfer ownership, branding rights, or intellectual property.
